C 151 summary
Cycle C-151 — Repo Hygiene & Pulse Foundations¶
Date: 2025-12-01
Cycle: C-151
Type: Maintenance / Foundations
1. Focus¶
- Local repo hygiene and performance (Git GC, loose objects cleanup).
- Clarified path to future rebases without rewriting public history.
- Continued hardening of workflows and Mobius Pulse patterns.
2. Changes This Cycle¶
- Verified that the
mainbranch remains the canonical, protected trunk. - Confirmed anti-nuke, MCP, and MII gates are still green on recent merges.
- Practiced safe local cleanup (garbage collection / compression) instead of dangerous history edits.
- Re-aligned our mental model: Mobius = cathedral + ledger, Git history = archive we annotate, not rewrite.
3. Lessons Learned¶
- Git "loose objects" are normal after intense development; the fix is maintenance, not panic.
- Rebasing a live, workflow-heavy monorepo must be surgical and extremely rare.
- The safest "reset" is narrative:
- New Cycles (C-152, C-153…)
- New folders in
docs/cycles/ - New cathedral entries — not rewriting old blocks.
4. Next Cycles¶
- C-152+:
- Continue shaping the Mobius Pulse protocol so sentinels can stay in sync via JSON snapshots.
- Start drafting small "on-ramp" apps (Citizen Shield / Reflections) as the first public Mobius clients.
- Add more "read-only" dashboards (for academics, economists, policymakers) without increasing blast radius.
Cycle C-151 closes as a housekeeping and clarity cycle — the cathedral stands, the ledger is intact, and we walk into C-152 with a lighter backpack and a cleaner map.
"We heal as we walk."
