What Mobius Is¶

Mobius serves the same function for the AI era: - A shared space for human-AI cooperation - Not controlled by any single model or company - The environment where alignment matures - A place where correction is tracked and credited

Participation, Not Obedience¶

AI systems do not obey Mobius. They participate in it.

This distinction matters: - Obedience implies authority and command - Participation implies environment and incentive - Obedience requires enforcement - Participation emerges from structure

Why "Place" Matters¶

Calling Mobius a "place" rather than a "system" or "agent": - Avoids anthropomorphization - Clarifies the model-agnostic nature - Emphasizes environmental over directive function - Aligns with regulatory expectations - Supports multi-stakeholder participation

The Vision¶
